Tell us about your college career and what the recruiting process was like? My college career was filled with life lessons and learning experiences. I was blessed enough to have great coaches and teammates who I won a lot of games with during my career. Coming out of high school I had no offers from any level just interest from D3 schools and Notre Dame College. A lot of schools over looked me because I played D-Line in high school and was undersized. But, I decided to go to NDC because Coach Mental always kept in contact with me and eventually convinced me to come to NDC, I liked the coaching staff because they were honest and understanding, also I felt like the team was very family oriented. My freshman year I played D-End and redshirted. I quickly realized that I had a better shot of playing if I moved to linebacker, so I was able to switch to linebacker. After switching to linebacker I became a 3 year starter, 2 year all-conference, and a 2 year captain.

What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far? My biggest accomplishment in my sports career is easily leading my team to winning a conference championship and leading us to Semifinals of D2 playoffs.

What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing at? One of biggest things I learned from the coaching staff is how to become a better leader and the importance of being patient.

What was your major and what are your plans if football didn’t work out? My major was Sports Management and I have a minor in Marketing. If football doesn’t work out I want to become a scout for a NFL team and then work my way up to becoming an executive for a team.

What would your teammates say about you and your qualities? My teammates would say that I was great leader who led by example and I gave them my all every practice and game.

What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it? My biggest challenge was becoming a captain my Junior year and having to learn how to get out of my comfort zone. I do not talk too much so I had to learn that it’s not how much you say to lead your team it’s when and how you say something that really helps. I also had to build a genuine relationship with almost everyone on the team which was something I wasn’t used to doing but once I started it got easier to do.

What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you? My biggest strength that I can bring to a professional team is my discipline and hardworking attitude. Pro scouts should consider me because I am hardworking player with a lot upside and I will do whatever it takes to help my team win games.

Who is or has been the most influential person in your life? The most influential person in my life is my father because he taught and trained me to become the best person I can be.

Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community? I have done many volunteering opportunities with my football team. Also I have been mentoring kids from my community in my hometown Cincinnati, Ohio since I have started high school. The kids that look up to me are one of the motivations I have to play professionally, I want to show them that dreams do come true if you work hard for them.

How are you preparing for the 2019 National Scouting Combine and what are your expectations? I am preparing for the combine by training with Grant Butler, he is the strength and conditioning coach at Notre Dame College. Also I have been training with Mark Harris from Raw Talents. My expectations are very high because I know I can compete with anyone at my position and I feel like my rigorous training is giving me an advantage in preparation for the combine

What would be your ultimate achievement? My ultimate achievement would be to play professional football no matter what organization or league. And once I get to the organization, working my tail off to earn playing time at any position the organization wants me to play.
