Q: Tell us about your college career and what the recruiting process was like?

A: In all honesty my college career did not go as planned, but the obstacles I faced along the way helped develop me into the person and player I am today. Coming from high school I had a lot of offers for both football and track, so the options where there it just came down to what I felt was the best decision for me. I decided to choose Weber State University because of the coaches and players there. Coach Hill is a great coach, and the way he and the staff turned the program around, and created a brotherhood is what players look for in a place to call home for 4 years. I also fell in love with the city especially all of the mountains and views during the winter time.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your sports career so far?

A: I feel like one of my biggest accomplishments is just being able to get a D1 scholarship period. As a kid you dream about that, and it’s definitely a great moment. With that, I feel not giving up despite some of the things I’ve been through along my career is also one of my biggest accomplishments.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while playing?

A: One of the most important things that I learned while at Weber State was the importance of family, both on and off the field. I transferred from there years ago and still talk to a lot of those guys to this day and have created strong bonds with my teammates. From both schools I’ve also learned the importance of discipline and how your actions in everyday life impact you as a football player.

Q: What was your major and what are your plans if football didn’t work out?

A: Business Administration, I plan to get involved in real estate or maybe a sales manager to start out if football doesn’t work out.

Q: What would your teammates say about you and your qualities?

A: They would say I’m a real cool guy, Im never in any drama, and I’m very loyal and trustworthy. I am also very passionate about anything I do.

Q: What has been your biggest challenge and how do you manage it?

A: My biggest challenge has been transferring schools, having to sit out a year and not playing this past season. I’ve just kept my head high and kept faith. I know I have the talent to compete at a high level, I just have made some mistakes along the way. I continue to stay positive and consistent in my training until I get the opportunity to showcase my abilities, and the player I can be.

Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team and why should pro scouts consider you?

A: My biggest strength is that I am a big physical corner while also being very athletic. I am also very coachable.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: The most influential people in my life are definitely my parents. They have been through hell and back to provide for me and my 5 other siblings. My parents have supported me in every move I’ve made and have never sugar coated any situation or decision along the way.

Q: Are you involved in mentoring, a charity or do you “give back”/”pay it forward” in your community?

A: I have done many community service projects throughout the years with my college teammates, and I have also helped within my community running football clinics for the youth. I also serve as a mentor to all of my little brothers and my sister being a positive role model for them, and setting a high standard in life.

Q: How are you preparing for the 2019 National Scouting Combine and what were your expectations?

A: I have been preparing through daily training and dieting. I expect to perform at a high level, and put up numbers that will compete for the top marks.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?

A: My ultimate achievement would be to not only make it on a roster, but perform and make an impact on whatever team I go to.
