His film speaks for itself… I have no doubt that Collin will receive opportunities at the highest level of football. We expect big things from him in 2016.”

A: My college career has been an interesting ride. I had my redshirt year at Brigham Young University as a Middle LB, which turned out to not be a good fit for me. I played my freshmen year at College of the Canyons as a fullback. I then transferred to Glendale Community College as a sophomore where I got a better opportunity to carry the ball as a RB, which was a successful year. I received a full ride scholarship to play RB/FB at Illinois State. Junior year I rotated with Marshaun Coprich (who’s now in the NFL scouting combine) as RB/FB. Senior I was transferred to the D Line to replace players that were injured two weeks before the game. I started every game my senior year as a D Linemen and was the runner up against North Dakota State in the 2015 FCA Championship.

Q: What would you consider to be your biggest accomplishment in your career?

A: Definitely starting on the D Line in the FCA National Championship against North Dakota State.

Q: What do you consider to be one of the more important things you learned from the coaching staff while at Illinois State?

A: I learned to be tough and to finish every play to the last second.

Q: If you could compete against any other professional athlete, who would that be and why?

A: I would love to play on a D Line against Tom Brady because he’s a legend.

Q: What is your biggest strength that you bring to a professional team?

A: My biggest strength is that I’m a strong 295-pound player that can move like I’m 230 pounds.

Q: Who is or has been the most influential person in your life?

A: My dad is the most influential person in my life and my hero to this day.

Q: What are your goals with football? If football does not work out, then what?

A: My goal is to go to the NFL. When my career is finished I’d like to be a firefighter.

Q: How did you prepare for the National Scouting Combine and what were your expectations?

A: I was in the weight room lifting a lot of weight 3 hours a day plus running and doing position drills on the field for two hours a day… 6 days a week for 3 months before the combine.

Q: What was your experience like in Indianapolis, and what did you learn from the experience?

A: My experience was awesome. I found that I prepared well for this combine because I’ve already have had a lot of interest from pro teams that I can potentially play for.

Q: What would be your ultimate achievement?

A: Play in the NFL[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_video link=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ph0XxOhqjOM” title=”2016 National Scouting Combine Defensive Line Drills”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
